Structural Liners
Where resin coating is not suitable or cost effective, we can install structural liners at 100mm and 150mm, at 550mm of 1 metre sections to secure spot repairs on damaged pipework, both above and below ground, where the location would otherwise require extensive civils works to remove and replace, such as major excavations or removal of walls and ceilings.
Structural Liner Removal
Sometimes, structural liners do not cure and do not set correctly or have simply been incorrectly installed, usually resulting in the need to remove, which can be extremely costly and potentially disruptive. Using our trenchless technology, we can completely cut out and remove any diameter patch or length of liner which has not been installed correctly. Next day service is available.
Lining is known as a CIPP system (cured in place pipe). This process of work involves
impregnating a fabric tube with epoxy resins, inserting it into the old pipe and expanding it
until it is cured. Our coating system used is known as AIPPR (applied in place pipe
rehabilitation) and this process works in conjunction with the host pipe (pipe in-situ) and not
as a replacement for the host pipe. This is done by rebuilding the pipe structurally, creating a
hybrid pipe that relies on filling in cracks, voids and displaced / open joints with a resin
material resulting in the in-situ pipe becoming much stronger and more robust.
